I contract with a company based in New York that provides all types of computer services. I recent was given the opportunity to be a off site repair laptop tech for a Sony Store here in San Diego. Customers bring in their laptop and parts are ordered and I provide the repair service.
What are you specialized in?
Computer setup and peripheral installation, virus detection and removal, email configuration, data transfer, networking, laptop repair and lcd replacement
Do you offer any service after finishing the work?
I also give customer information so that they prevent the issue or issues from happening again. I recommend following thru on schedule updates for their operating system and also make sure that they have a free or paid for virus program protecting their system. I also mention backing up data on a regular basis just in case or hardware failure.

I have work on HP, Dell, Sony, E-machines, Compaq, Acer, Asus, Apple, Toshiba, Gateway, IBM, Alienware.
How did you get started?
I started my computer back in 2006 but have always be interested in technology. I had a friend working for Nokia that was in IT that provided some basis computer training and I use that training later to start my business.
What questions should a customer ask before hiring you?
What type experience do you have working on specific computers? Are your quote free? Are diagnosis free? Are you price negotiable? Do you travel to my location or I do I have to bring the laptop to you?
What is important to know about your profession?
I am a mobile technician. I perform services all over San Diego. I lived in New York before moving to California. I enjoyed helping people with their computer issues. If I can fix it, you don't pay for the service rendered. My prices are reasonable and fair. I accept referrals from my customers.

How can we save money hiring you?
People today are affected by the economy and don't have a lot of money to spend or are look to save money. So I always refer them to websites or stores that I store at and have found discounts or bargain on products so as to help make the right decision.
What we may not know about you?
I originally lived in New York but helped a friend who had cancer move to San Diego with family. She later passed away in 97.

What kind of questions do customers ask you?
How much does it cost for this service or that particular repair? I saw your ad and wonder if you can do virus removal or install my printer? I always tell my potential customers that I provide a variety or services to fit anyone needs. And that there are some services that are not within my expertise. So I don't provide that services.
